Ladies Bible Study

A Bible Study for women continues on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.  We will be studying several Psalms.  The study will be held on May 9, 16, 23, June 6, 13, & 20. Come and bring a friend!
Celebrate Life

WinGs is sponsoring two drives to share God’s love with families in need.  The Baby Bottle Blessings will benefit WELS Lutherans for Life.  Diapers (and other items) will be donated to Tomorrow’s Choice.  Please see the May newsletter for more information.  Both drives will begin on Mother’s Day, May 13.
Fish Fry

Senior Moments will be having our annual fish fry on Friday, May 18, at 5:00 p.m.  We will be going to Doc's on the Fox in Waterford.  Sign up on the sheet in the narthex so we can let Doc's know how many to expect. Any questions, talk to Bob or Julie McGill.
Scrip Order

Scrip is a easy way to raise funds for our Tuition Assistance Fund.  Scrip is a program where you buy gift cards at face value.  A percentage of that gift card, typically 4-8%, is donated to Living Water.  Those funds are added to our Tuition Assistance Fund.   Your regular shopping can support our students attending area Lutheran schools.  Order forms are available in the narthex.  Orders are due on Sunday, June 3.  You can also order Scrip cards online

Living Water does not have a paid janitor, so we rely on volunteers to clean our entire building. Winter's snow and salt make it even more important that the entryway, sanctuary, bathrooms, and fellowship hall regularly have thorough cleanings. Could you spare some time to help keep our building looking great? A checklist of cleaning duties are posted above the light switch inside the storage room, which is located across from the library. Thanks for considering helping out in this way!
Sunday Morning Fellowship Hosting

Our congregation enjoys a time of fellowship, coffee, and food following Sunday morning worship.  This fellowship is enjoyed by many, but some light work is needed to help things rung smoothly.  Fellowship hosts are responsible for bringing juice, making coffee, setup, and a light cleanup. (Usually people will help cleanup.) The coffee, creamer, plates, napkins, and cups are provided. It is not required to bring a food item.  On Sunday morning, the hosts make regular and decaf coffee and heat the water for tea and cocoa. (The tea and cocoa are also provided.) Hosts also set out plates, napkins, utensils, and food items brought by the other members.  Hosts are not expected to bring all of the food.  Any one is welcome to bring any food item they wish to share. It is not limited to sweets. Please call Colleen or Mark Schneider  with questions or if you need help the first time you host.
