Sunday School

Sunday School is underway!  Everyone in grades preK—6th grade is welcome to join us.  We will meet in the back of church shortly after worship ends.

NEW Bible Study

What exactly do Lutherans believe? How are Lutherans different from, say, Catholics? These questions are nearly 500 years old, and on June 25, 1530 a document called the Augsburg Confession helped answer them. Over the next two months, a new Sunday morning study will take a look at the history, biblical teachings, and modern applications behind this momentous document.
November Newsletter

Please submit your information for the November newsletter by next Sunday, October 22nd.
Jesus Cares

Our church has another blessing to celebrate!  Jesus Cares Ministry is turning 10!  This great ministry is an outreach to adults who are intellectually or developmentally disabled living in our area.  Over the past 10 years we have made many new friends in Christ!  Come and join us Monday, October 16, 6pm in the fellowship hall for our “kick off” event.  We will have crafts, snacks & a devotion led by Pastor Voss.  We welcome everyone!  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Tracy De Angelis..  This year’s theme is “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
China Lights

If you ordered tickets to China Lights, they are available in the church office.  If you haven't paid for them, please pay when you pick up the tickets.  You can go on your own, or go with us as a group.  We will be going as a group on Tuesday, October 17th.  Sign up on the sheet in the narthex if you plan on going with us.  We will meet at church at 5:00 and carpool to the park.
Fall Family Festival

We will be having a new activity called Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00-4:00 . There will be great activities for the family to participate in like making fall crafts, a photo area, caramel apple making, trunk or treat and MORE! We will need VOLUNTEERS for this activity to be a success, as well as member who would be willing to decorate the trunks of their cars and hand out candy. There is more information in the narthex explaining trunk or treat as well as a sign-up sheet for volunteers and food donations. Make sure to tell your friends and neighbors, and also bring your children/grandchildren to this great event!
Kick-Off Meeting Wrap-Up

Last Sunday, several women gathered for a light lunch and fellowship as WinGS began a new year of ministry.  WinGS stands for Women in God’s Service.  The ladies discussed ways that we can encourage personal spiritual growth, live our faith out in actions, share God’s love in tangible ways, and build friendships.  Watch the bulletin and the newsletters for more information.
Senior Moments

We are planning an outing to the Burlington Haylofters.  This is one of Wisconsin's oldest community theaters and is located in the historic Malt House Theater, built in the 1800s.  We will see the production of "Greater Tuna" on Sunday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m.  This is a satire on life in the small rural American town of Tuna, Texas.  The eclectic band of citizens that make up this town are portrayed by only two performers.  Tickets should be about $15.  Sign up on the table in the narthex.
Senior Moments T-shirts

There are a few t-shirts available.  They will be on the table in the narthex if you're interested, or talk to Julie McGill if you have any questions.
Proposed Outdoor Space

Please share your thoughts on the proposed outdoor picnic shelter plans with a member of the planning committee or with a member of church council.  The plans are on display in the narthex.  Copies of the plans are also available in the narthex for you to take home.
