Today’s Prayer
He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.—Psalm 146:7,8 (NIV)
Father, is any problem too big for you? Is there anything you cannot do? You have created everything and you forgive our sins. You watch over our coming and going, all the while wanting only the very best for us. Help us to trust you enough to take our problems to you. Father, whether we are facing sickness, financial problems, school problems, family, work or social concerns, help us to trust you and let you take care of it. May we always remember your hands are bigger than any problem we may have. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Women in God’s Service Meeting
The first WinGS meeting will be held next week Sunday, September 16 at 11:30 am. It's a chili dump luncheon. Ask Kathi Boziel.
Help Needed for Trunk or Treat Festival
Would you like to help reach out to families in our area? What if you could do it by handing out candy from your car in the church parking lot? Join other Living Water family members on October 27 for Trunk or Treat. We'll welcome families from our community onto our property so that children can trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk and the whole family can enjoy other fun fall activities. But we need at least ten vehicles by mid September to get this event up and running. Candy will be provided for you to hand out. Sign up in the narthex today!
Calling All Singers
and those who love to lift their voice in praise to the Lord! Please join us Wednesdays nights at 7:30 pm as a new season of singing has started. If you are confirmed and older, then come and join us. Questions? Ask Neil or Tracy Hankwitz.

Senior Moments
Our annual Planning Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 29th, at 3:00 pm. Please bring your ideas and suggestions for activities for the coming year. This is an all-you-can-eat meal. Advanced tickets are $10. We would like to get the tickets in advance and make reservations for our group, so please sign up on the sheet in the narthex and get the money for your tickets to Bob or Julie McGill.
