Today’s Prayer
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. —Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)
Father, you are the great God who created all things for your glory. All the earth and everything in it is yours. You have also created me – thoughtfully, lovingly, uniquely me. I am your handiwork from your own hand. Through justification Jesus lives in me; you see me created anew in Jesus. Help me to walk with Jesus and use these talents you created me with to serve you and my neighbor, so that with the help of the Holy Spirit I accomplish all that I was created for. Thank you for my uniqueness. Thank you for my purpose. And thank you for all the help I have at my disposal to accomplish all I was created to accomplish. Amen.
Trunk or Treat Festival
Help reach out to families in our area by simply serving donuts and apple cider or helping kids decorate pumpkins. Trunk or Treat is this Saturday, October 27 from 1:00-3:30 pm. Many volunteers are needed to make this outreach event happen; sign up in the narthex to help out in a variety of ways. Various donations are also needed; please see the bulletin board in the narthex. Donations of candy can be put in the bin in the narthex.

Senior Moments
Our November outing is coming up soon! We will be going to Delavan to see the Christmas Magic Dancing Horses show on Sunday, November 18 at 1:00 pm. The cost for both the horse show and the exotic bird show will be $27.50. We plan to leave immediately following Bible class at 11:30 am and will carpool to Delavan. We need to know how many will be going so we can purchase advance tickets, so sign up on the sheet in the narthex by November 4. You're welcome to bring kids and grandkids as this is a family-friendly show. If we have at least 20 going, we will get a discount on the tickets. Talk to Bob or Julie McGill if you have any questions.
