Today’s Prayer

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” —Matthew 14:29-30 (NIV)

Dear heavenly Father, forgive me for when I doubt.  I know there are many times when I have too little faith and I doubt.  I always seem to want to do it my way.  "My way is the best way." I may seek the advice of other people, but I still want to do it my way.  I want to make the decision on how to do something, when to do it, and who should do it.  Yes, Father, I am stubborn.  I need to learn to consult you first.  Take away my doubting and help me to seek and trust your plan.  Life is so much easier listening to your voice in your Word, having faith, trusting you, and not doubting.  Grant me a faith that will trust your almighty hand in all that I do.  In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Church Picnic

Save the date for Sunday, August 11 for the church picnic.  Food, fun, and fellowship.  Volunteers are needed to help set up, cook the food, run games, and clean up.  We’re also looking for people to bring side dishes and desserts.  Please see the sign up sheet in the narthex or contact Kathi Boziel for more information.

Open Forum & Voters’ Meeting

The voters meeting held earlier this month was preceded by an open forum which included reports from boards of ministry. The finance committees announced very positive news about the monetary blessings God has given us. God be praised for his people's generosity! After a presentation and listening to feedback, the voters decided to replace the current projection system and screen with a two TV plan. If you have comments, questions, or concerns about any area of Living Water's ministry, please talk to a councilman. God bless the work he has given us to do!
