Dear heavenly Father, Christmas is coming.  Christmas – the time when the Word became flesh and lived among us.  Open my eyes to see your glory, your goodness, and your joy among us.  Yes, Father, this world is full of a continuous bombardment to take our eyes off you, but just send your Holy Spirit so that we may be drawn back to keep our focus on Jesus.  Help us to prepare our hearts for the very best gifts of all – grace and truth from your Son, Jesus.  Come, Jesus, come. Amen.

 

Christmas Worship

Christmas Eve Candlelight, a Service of Lessons and Carols, will be at 6:30 pm.  Christmas Day worship will be at 9:00 am.

 

Christmas Worship Invitations

Invitations for our Christmas services are available in the narthex for you to share with family members, friends, and acquaintances.  Please take as many as you are able to give away!  Please also pray that God will bless our efforts to share his Word with our community.

 

Sunday School Schedule

Sunday School will not meet today, Sunday, December 22 or  next week, December 29.  The regular schedule will resume on January 5.

 

The New Year

Offering envelopes for 2020 are available in the narthex.  New ushers schedules and the sign-up sheet for Holy Communion set up are also in the narthex.

Are you heading south to warmer weather for the winter?  Please let our church office know your mailing address and the dates when it should be used.  You can find a local church on wels.net.

 

Pastor Voss on Vacation

Pastor Voss will be on vacation from December 31 through January 6. If you need emergency pastoral assistance from December 31 - January 2, please contact Pastor Micah Martin (262-975-0827) or Pastor John Bortulin (262-232-2202) from St. John's, Mukwonago. If you need emergency pastoral assistance from January 3-6, please contact Pastor Wayne Shevey (636-443-3779).

Baby Shower Save the Date

Shoreland Open House
