Today’s Prayer
I will tell of the kindnesses of the LORD, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the LORD has done for us— yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses. He said, “Surely they are my people, children who will be true to me”; and so he became their Savior.—Isaiah 63:7-8 (NIV)
Dear heavenly Father, let us start the New Year praising you. We thank you for hearing our prayers and answering them; for creating us and giving us opportunities to enjoy this beautiful world in which we live; for being the great Almighty God, that you are, and for never changing. Thank you for your blessings that are new every morning. Thank you for your forgiveness and help us to forgive others. Thank you for your protection and all your kindnesses freely bestowed upon us. Father, make us so you will be proud of us and will always see us as your treasured children. Thank you, Jesus, for becoming our personal Savior. We pray in your name. Amen.

Sunday School Schedule
Sunday School will not meet today, Sunday December 29. The regular schedule will resume next week, January 5.
New Bible Study Series
Our next Sunday morning Bible study series takes on a book-study format to examine Jesus' life according to the Gospels. The book is entitled When Christ Walked among Us (NPH 2012). Over the next three months, our readings in church will cover Jesus' life and ministry up to his death, and this Bible study will be a great way to shed more light on that, making our Epiphany, Lent, and Easter worship that much better!
The New Year
Offering envelopes for 2020 are available in the narthex. New ushers schedules and the sign-up sheet for Holy Communion set up are also in the narthex. Sign-ups for flowers, fellowship hosting, and greeting will be available next week.
Sunday Prayer Group
Before Sunday worship a group meets in Pastor’s office to pray. We pray for all members of Living Water We present to the Lord any prayers requested that week, as well as for missionaries and Christian leaders, for family members who have lost faith, for comfort and healing during illness, and for healthy Christian families, and the list goes on. Above all, we praise and thank God for hearing our prayers and answering them. We would love to pray specifically for you. Prayer requests can be made to Pastor personally, on the prayer request form in the pews, by email, or on our website. Prayer requests will be kept confidential. You are also welcome to join us any Sunday! We begin at 8:30 am. Contact Nancy Kedzie-Wilson with any questions. To God be the glory!
