Today’s Prayer

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion. —Psalm 103:1-4 (NIV)

Dear heavenly Father, can I ever praise you enough?  No, never!  Please accept my praise from my inmost being – from my head to my toes and everything in between.  Show me your presence so I may praise you every minute of the day.  Thank you for being with me- for protecting, healing, forgiving, and showing me the way.  Father, I am so unworthy of being in your presence, yet you saved me and still shower me with your love and compassion. To God alone be the glory! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

New Bible Study Series

Beginning next Sunday, January 12, Sunday morning Bible study takes on a book-study format to examine Jesus' life according to the Gospels. The book is entitled When Christ Walked among Us (NPH 2012). Over the next three months, our readings in church will cover Jesus' life and ministry up to his death, and this Bible study will be a great way to shed more light on that, making our Epiphany, Lent, and Easter worship that much better!
