Today’s Prayer

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” —John 4:13-14 (NIV)

Dear heavenly Father, I want this living water.  I know this living water which Jesus was talking about is eternal life available for all who believe in him.  But Father, I still get thirsty because I still sin and go my own way.  Forgive me.  Draw me closer to you.  Through your Son, Jesus, and your Word, the Bible, fill me with this spring of water which never dries up.  Make it to continually flow in praises to you.  Make it overflow from my life to others so that they may come to know you also.  In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
